NIPCO GROUP India is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant or Senior Accountant for their Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh location. The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing unit or CA firm and will be responsible for managing all finance-related tasks, including monthly and yearly compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: Train and develop the accounting team; establish a system to monitor each accountant’s work.
  • Invoice Management: Review incoming bills; issue debit or credit notes as per factory reports; verify dispatch invoices and e-way bills; communicate with clients accordingly.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations, both morning and evening.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily summary reports for incoming and outgoing bills, cash expenses at the factory, pending vendor bills, and debtor payments; follow up on payments.
  • Compliance: Handle statutory matters such as TDS, GST, Professional Tax, including filing quarterly TDS returns and monthly/annual GST returns.
  • Regulatory Filings: Ensure timely filing of returns related to labor laws, factory laws, and employment exchanges.
  • Subsidy Claims: Prepare workings for subsidy claims from central and state governments, including capital subsidy, SGST refunds, budgetary schemes, and freight subsidy schemes; follow up with respective departments.
  • Licenses and Registrations: Apply for and renew necessary licenses and registrations; ensure compliance with departmental queries.
  • Payroll Management: Cross-check salary sheets; audit bills from labor contractors; ensure timely payment of PF/ESIC for workers; deposit PF, ESIC, and PT for permanent workers.
  • Final Settlements: Prepare accurate final settlement sheets for departing employees.
  • Vendor Audits: Audit bills and invoices from transporters and other vendors; ensure correct receipt of materials and services.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare MIS sheets on costing; compile monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Senior Accountant with relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
